Latin Name: Rosa centifolia

Rose petals contain about 95 percent water when fresh.  Their nutritional value is limited and their calorie count is low, however, the petals do contain some vitamin C, Vitamin A & Vitamin E. They also contain an extremely small amount of fructose, glucose and sucrose. A 2017 study also showed they contain trace amounts of Polyunsaturated fatty acids – good for the heart.

As with all natural products, color will vary.  Sometimes they are brighter, sometimes darker.
